Role of remote transformational leadership on service performance: evidence in Indonesia

Abstract This study examined and analysed the role of remote transformational leadership in business strategy consensus by considering contingency competitive intensity organisational learning culture. The population this are owners or service managers start-up companies provinces DIY East Java. sampling technique used was a purposive method with sample size 231 managers. data collected through distribution questionnaires interviews several key who represent their companies. Euclidean Distance Simple Regression Moderation were as statistical processing tools. results proved fit between each typology variable study. It also found that could strengthen relationship pattern. approach is crucial because situations conditions organisations may vary depending on company’s internal (organisational culture) external (competitive intensity) environment, especially era Covid-19 pandemic. Contingency needs to be assessed so performance can improved sustainable long term. situation condition will improve when strengthened leadership.
